XV - Fall Out The Sky (Music Video)
The video I and everyone else has been waiting for is finally here. Myspace premiered XV's "Fall Out The Sky" music video today finally. This single is off his newest & most successful mixtape, "Everybody's Nobody," sponsored by Subconscious Threads & hosted by DJ Enuff & DJ Benzi. It was supposed to be released last friday, but due to some technicalities it was pushed back for today. So check it out and enjoy the boy from Kansas...
Cory Gunz + DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz = Heir To The Throne
Cory Gunz is pound for pound the best lyricist today. His wordplay is insane & his flow is definitely original. Gunz has teamed up with the mixtape guru DJ Drama to give us "Heir To The Throne!" Rightfully so since no other artist I can think of in the game now is even remotely close to him lyrically. The only thing that I dislike is the lack of clarity in his rhymes. Gunz uses so much wordplay that it's hard to understand what he's talking about at times. However, he's still the illest emerging emcee in the game so check out "Heir To The Throne" & hit the DL if your feeling it...

Halo 3 ODST Tomorrow
Anybody that knows Reez knows I'm a gamer to the core & that Halo is my favorite game of all time! Well the series will be extended with it's fourth release tomorrow, approx. 9 hours from now. Halo 3 ODST is a completely different game with a more primitive scenery and a slight decrease in power. I'm so ready for this game I can't control myself. If I was crazy I would wait in the Gamestop parking lot until it opens LMAO! Anyway if you love Halo make sure u go cop this tomorrow!

Ricky Ruckus "Head Of State Mixtape"
Ricky Ruckus is one of the most complete underground/indie artists period. Ruckus has been running the hip-hop scene in the TreFo (North Carolina) for the longest and was the recipient of the "Artist of the Year Award" at NC Underground Music Awards last year. Ruckus has consistently dropped mixtape after mixtape with original tracks and his own swag. The only reason he hasn't inked a deal is because he wants the right one, so until then check out his new mixtape "Head Of State!"

Hov's Blueprint Trilogy Is Here!
Well the release we've all been waiting for is finally here! Fortunately, I've had this album for about a week now, but my critique is that, all in all, it's a solid album. From beginning to end Hov tells us how he feels about the game, his life, and the future. My personal favorites are Thank You, Empire State Of Mind, Real As It Gets, Star Is Born, & Haters. I can listen to the whole album all the way through, but of course I skip the overplayed DOA & Run This Town. A lot of bloggers & critics have been hating on Jay-z because he isn't the same as he was back in the Black Album or Blueprint days. However, he says it best on the Swizz Beatz joint, "If you want the old Jay-z buy my old albums!" I like the new Hov and I still hear the old Hov on the tracks I listed as my favorites. The lyrics, wordplay, delivery, & swag are all there.
